Hi all.

I don't know if anyone remembers me or not, but I took a break from the forum (and soapmaking in general) over the summer. No particular reason... I just haven't felt like making soap since the spring! The last soaps I made were for my wedding favours.

I got hitched in Mexico in May and my husband and I have been enjoying summer. We recently got a new puppy too!

Now that the weather is changing, and I keep glancing at my poor neglected soapmaking supplies... I'd like to get back into it.

Not to mention that I'll be hosting September's Challenge! So I need to get my stuff together for that!!!

Anyway! Just wanted to check in and say hello to new faces and old. I'm looking forward to puttering around and seeing what everyone's been up to!

His name is Mochi! He's a 5-month old corgi mix rescue. We also have a 6-year old female purebred corgi named Scout. They're getting along well! Mochi just got snipped yesterday so the poor little guy is sporting a cone of shame.

Rowan - they definitely keep me busy! But they also both love to snuggle so it's nice to relax on the couch with them.

I'll add a few more photos - my beachy wedding favour bars, and a few wedding photos! Can't help but share, it was like a fairytale.

Welcome back Toxicon! I love your Corgis. My nephew once had a purebred corgi that ended up going to the ex-wife in their divorce, but while they were still married they would often bring it with them whenever they would visit my sis's homestead out in the boonies, who at the time had a flock of sheep, and we were amazed to find out that it could round up the sheep with the best of my sis's border collies! Before that, we had no idea corgis could herd.

Thank you so much IrishLass! Corgis are such a fun breed. They definitely love to herd! When Scout was younger she'd chase us around like crazy.

And it certainly was a 'romantical' day!!!

Thanks SaltedFig and Rowan! It was so fun to match my hair to my dress! I definitely had to do something colourful!
