So from what I can gather, suppliers do not need to have these for their fragrance oils. Is it simply cost prohibitive for smaller companies? From what I read, it's voluntary to have these?

I have asked for them from a few well know suppliers, some send them right away, while a few just ignore my emails, multiple in a few cases, completely.

What's the deal with this? Do they not want to tell me they don't have them? I will still buy from them since they are well known suppliers, but I don't understand ignoring my emails. "I won't be ignored" (Fatal Attraction)

From what I understand, IFRA standards, at least here in the US, are completely voluntary. Some vendors follow them and others do not. The ones that do, such as TheScentWorks, for example, usually mention it on their site. You can pretty much safely assume that the ones that don't follow the IFRA standards won't have them listed on their site.

IrishLass :)

For what it's worth: The FO's from Nature's Garden all are compliant with the global RIFM and IFRA standards.

Perhaps you're aware of the fact that the legislation in Europe is a lot stricter than in the US; NG supplies us with the necessary information on the allergens content, which makes us very happy.

The only suppliers I know that offer the IFRA certificates right on their websites are Nature's Garden Candles, Wholesale Supplies Plus, Candle Science and Bitter Creek. I do know that Peak Candles will send it to you if you ask.
