To meet ONE person...living or deceased, who would it be?

I think I would want to meet Bob Marley and talk philosophy 8)

I'd like to spend a day with my Grandmother. I'd like my kids and husband to meet her. So much of who I am today is because of her. She was a blast, very funny. A 5'11 red head with a hearty laugh who ordered her Manhattans in tea cups so we could sip our drinks with nobody knowing. (Silly - but when it's your grandma it's hysterical.)

She also wore animal prints EVERYWHERE and called a penis a tweed. I have to giggle everytime I make soap with Green Tweed.

Definitely my dad. I would love for him to see what my life has become because of him and his influence. Also for him to also slap some sense into my dumb a$$ brother.

I'd have to say my maternal grandmother. She's been gone for 9 years and I still miss her soooo much. She was a hoot! She loved telling me about all the mischeivious things she did as a girl growing up in Cuba (ie. she played hookie from school for an entire year...she'd take her lunch money and go fishing with her brothers). She used to torment her sisters with all sorts of tricks. I didn't meet her till I was 18 but she was my instant buddy and we'd sneak away from my parents and go have a smoke and talk. I miss you Abuelita!! :(

I know this sounds corny but I would want to meet Jesus.

Him aside, I would want to meet Ingrid Bergman, Bette Davis or Audrey Hepburn. Well today anyways. You know this changes depending on the day. lol

I would like to meet my Mom again and tell her about my kids and grand kids and all the things she never got to see and hear about . I think she knows , but I didn't get to tell her .I miss her a lot , it was 25 years ago yesterday that she died .

my great grandmother, but without the alzheimer. I'd like to know from her what life was really like as a young Jewish girl during the war and afterwards.

I'd like to meet an ancestor from the 1800's and hear all about their life, struggles, fun times. I would also like to see if we look alike.

I would love to have one last conversation with my Dad. He passed when I was 11 yr. old, 30 years ago. I would sit and just memorize every single thing about him, I would hold his hand and tell him I love him and miss him. I would ask him if he is at peace and whats it like to be at peace. I would love just one conversation with him just so I can remember his voice, his mannerisms, his smile..........

I got to thinking some more and someone from my family I would like to meet would be my dad's mom. She died when he was only 9 from cancer.

Like you Ian maybe it would be Bob Marley,l am a fan from way back or maybe John Lennon another one of my idols. As for family it would have to be my Great grandmother who died well before l was born but who raised 8 children and helped run a farm with only one arm, life must have been incredibly hard for mothers before the days of mechanical helpers but with only one arm it must have been a colossal feat she must have been some woman.
