I bevel now and again if I think the soap needs it. The slab mold ones definitely look better bevelled.

Yes - to me too. @Misschief posted some on Zany's thread and I thought how lovely they looked. It's just my creative side that wants to try all this stuff I see on you tube, so that's the side that's winning at the moment. If I make a plain white soap, I ask myself, what fragrance would it be..?

It's a blank slate... it can be any fragrance you want (as long as it isn't a discolouring FO). I left my batch unscented and uncoloured because I know I have customers that want that.

I think I would go a gentle floral like jasmine or similar.
