They don't taste as good as they smell......trust me....I already gave them the lick test. I did get some soda ash on my cupcakes that I steamed off over my tea kettle. Once I did that the cosmetic glitter really popped out and they still look good no more soda ash. Now my tollhouse cookie dough soap turned out rather nice, but I didn't support my silicone loaf mold (always use support) and they are quite strange looking bars. But they smell great!
Oh my goodness, those soaps are pieces of art! How big are the cup cake ones, and surely, they're only for show, right? Like, where would you put them, and who would be allowed to spoil them by using them??
No the soap cupcakes are not just for show. You pull the cinnamon stick and cloves out, cut the soap in half from top to bottom and the half will fit into the palm of your hand.
Here is a pic of todays creation. I just got my larger decorating tips and I will need to work a bit more with them. I notice it is more difficult to hide mistakes when I make them. This is a 2 Layer Orange Mango Spice Soap Cake. Once it finishes curing I will post the inside as did a semi swirl in the "cake" layers. I felt the top looked too plain so I tried sprinkling some cinnamon and allspice on top along with the cosmetic glitter. Not the best idea.
Okay, the bundt cake one is amazing. Did you use a bundt cake pan for that, and what did you use to oil it? Clearly, you didn't line it, did you? What's the size of your recipe?
I've sworn I made my last batch this weekend, but I'm all inspired now by this one.
