I have a friend who is really interested in soap making. For Christmas, I want to get him a really good soap mold that will work for whatever type of process he decides to go with. But I can't ask him questions about it or he'll know what I'm up to! Does anyone have suggestions for a really quality soap mold that will last and last? Thank you!

High end log molds with removable silicone liners can be had from Silver Moon or Woodfields. They are very nice but pricey.

More economical free standing silicone loaf molds (8 inches long making 8 standard sized bars of soap) are sold by Wholesale Supplies Plus, Brambleberry, and BebeCollection. These run, with postage, about 20 bucks. WSP has a minimum order of $30.

A quick google search will tell you what you need to know.

Don't get the molds from Mr. DoRight on ebay!
