I upped the amount of color in my lavender and peppermint batches so now the lavender is a darker purple and the peppermint is more red. I used Grape Pop and Raspberry Pop from TKB.

Here is the first attempt making these batches:

And here's my attempt last night in the mold:

I cannot wait to unmold and cut! I'll post pics of the cut bars as soon as I can.

Very pretty soap. My raspberry pop always comes out peachy. :( Yours is a great color.

Thanks everyone! I got to say that I went overboard on the amount of mica used. I think I can really tone it down, but dang...I love the brightness!

The molds are from The Soap Mold Superstore and I absolutely love them. I have to double up, though, because they are supposedly more for melt and pour and may bow out due to the weight of the CP soaps. I got mine from the rummage bin for a fantastic price and they always send an extra mold or two as a compliment. No liner is needed - all I have to do is wipe down the inside with some oil from the base oils and that's it!

I unmolded them tonight but they are still too soft to cut so updated pics will have to wait. I got antsy though, and cut a tiny sliver off the lavender one - OMG I think it is great! I cannot wait to cut it up!
