Just a little rant for today...

I've already made two batches of soap stiring by hand for hours on and off - hours!! I still loved making the soap, but hours was just too much! So I broke down and got a stick blender - 15 minutes!! :p Holy cow, was it ever easy! Now I'm looking forward to making Castille soap eventually!

Yep....the SB every time! I have only used one for CP soap, I wouldn't know how to stir, stir, stir  I liken it to whipping cream: why would you use a spoon? It takes too darn long!!!

Tanya :)

Hand Stirring in the right place

Once apon a time, earlier this year while I was trying to avoid builders that had invaded my living space I retreated outside in the mellow sunshine and stirred and stirred by hand.About 3 batches.
The soap was beautifull.
Never again I say though.
My gosh those builders must be left with the impression that soap is very very hard work.
All covered up in Safety glasses and clothing they didn't bother me too much.It served it's purpose.
Soon my place will be totally finished and I will get my final building approval  and slowly the whole experience as in birthing any baby will disolve from my memory. Even the one where a couple of likely lads lined the bathroom inside with gibbrock (not what I had asked for)and hadn't actually waterproofed the addition first. Yes one storm and it was all on the floor.

I have never even attempted to hand stir! LOL, the SB was one of my first soap making purchases!
