After a year of trying I FINALLY made my first viable batch of CP soap!

It is the consistency of cheesecake so I guess I will have to add stearic acid to make it harder in the next batch. But I am sooo happy that I did it.

I finally got the formula and the technique right.

WHOO_HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

(Okay, I know they are ugly bars...they are really soft....I just pulled them out of the mold today....and they are scented with orange ginger....but I did it!)

Btw, you said they are a bit soft, did you use castor oil? My recipe with castor oil was soft at first. But after 3 weeks, it is much harder now.

I think they are beautiful. They look creamy, smooth and uniform in a nice light/white color.
