I Believe Ultramarines & Oxides Accelerate Trace---Test

I made a batch of soap with 3 colors . Divided the soap into 3 parts . I used labcolors in 2 parts the third I used black oxide and blue ultramarine . I put my FO in the labcolor parts. No scent in the oxide/ultramarine mix. The scented labcolors did not change at all, the oxide mix was thick as can be seconds after I put the color in .

I have one more test to do with TD to see if that accelerates things too.

Has anyone else tested this theory ? I would be curious to hear what you found.

i used titamium dioxide, ultramarine blue, and ultramarine pink in the last batch of soap i did. i used 2 tsp pink in about 2 cups traced soap, 1/2 tsp ultramarine blue in about 1 c trace soap and about 1 TB titanium dioxide in about 2 cups of traced soap. they all behaved wonderfully, no quick thickening or anythingl. i did not use any eo or fo....but as far as the behaviour of the soap once i added the different colors, there was none that i could see....
