Here are some lavender and eucalyptus scented bars, coloured with alkanet root. I'm quite content, still have that warm gushy feeling from cutting the bars

I used roughly 3 tsps of alkanet, infused them in olive oil for a week and then strained with a cheese cloth and soaped 8)

Do you mean the crumbly bits? I'm in need of a flat scraper thingy to smooth it all down.

Oh no, I didn't read it that way. I wondered what the scratch marks were and luckily I didn't get any with the second batch of HP.
 
Very nice SFB, and I love that feeling of first cutting into a new batch of soap, too, almost as much as making it or maybe a little bit more! :eek:

What a great tip!!! Something as simple as that and it is ingenious!
