Hi everyone, my name is Becky & I just joined from NE Alabama. I have yet to make any soap, but I've been studying about it for about a year & trying to work up the courage to make my first batch. LOL. Intimidating with the lye and all.

My main hobbies are gardening, preserving, quilting, horseback riding, and I'm just starting my own all-natural body care product line. I'm happy to be on SMF and look forward to raiding the wealth of information here :-D

Welcome Becky, with all your studying of how to make soap its time you jumped in and had a go. Lye is not that bad to deal with, just be careful and wear all the appropriate protection and you'll be fine. We are (I think):crazy:. You are definitely busy with all your hobbies, better add soaping to the list very soon.
