Ok, I'm feeling a bit dumb, and this is probably a bit obvious.... How do I run an existing recipe through soap calc? It won't let me input weights, only percentages. To double check the recipe I made last night, i guessed at the superfat level, then I had to figure out the percentages of each oil, then I played with the weight untill I was able to get it to show the weights shown in the book. Huge pain in the butt! I do understand how to formulate a recipe with soapcalc. That at least seems pretty straight forward. Thanks all!

At the top of soap calc you can choose whether or not you're measuring in pounds, ounces, or grams. For all intensive purposes, I clicked ounces (at the top it is #2). Now over to the far right is the % column. You can input your % here OR next to it, click the dot above the ounces (remember, I choose ounces. This column will say grams or pounds if you choose that). Then you can input the ounce weights in THIS column NEXT TO the % column. When you click at the bottom the calculate button, it will automatically show you what % each oil was right next to the ounce measurements you imputed. I attached a blank pic with ounces hilighted in the box #2, and this way you can see what I'm typing. It's hard to explain in internet talk, so if you're still confused, hopefully someone else is better with their words. I hope I helped! Gah, tried to upload the pic. Don't know if it blurred out. Apologies if it isn't visible.

Yeah, it blurred. But look to the far right. When I clicked it, it hilighted green and this is where you put the specific oil amounts. Like 9.6 ounces olive etc. After you hit calculate, it will show you the percentages.

Oh!!! I TOTALLY missed the little dot! I wasn't clicking that dot, so it wouldn't let me type anything in the grams field! Thank you so very much! I suspected I was missing something pretty obvious!

Thx Deanna! That works perfect!
Puddin and peanuts, it took me a while to figure it all out myself. I haven't even made my first cp batch yet (i can only buy a little each paycheck, and am busy getting all the supplies together). That said I've been making recipes this entire time trying to find my basic, washing, my facial, my shaving bar, my easy and cheap to make bar, etc, so I became very familiar with the calc. Glad you figured it out!!
