how long does your stamped image on soap stay?

When you 'stamp soap' and make a impression into the soaps surface with a rubber stamp- how many washes does the impression usually stay visible for on average? I was curious about this and know its a odd ball question but my eldest son wants to help me make soap and I thought he might enjoy using a few small simple stamps to customize our soaps or to make for grandma etc. I do not stamp so this would be their solo purpose so though it was worth asking before we take a trip to Hobby Lobby. I do not use soap that has impressions on it either o I would just pay attention to my own...so anyhoo if anyone wants to throw me a ballpark figure I would appreciate it

It would really depend on how deeply you stamp your soap. I use stamps I got from a soap supply, so the impression is a good depth. I can say it lasts a good long time on mine. There are tutorials online for making your own stamps too, it doesn't look too difficult, I just haven't gotten round to it. (how's that for ball park?)
