How important is the "cleansing" property of soap?

I'm about out of CO and won't be able to get more for a while. Researching trying to find another oil that adds to cleansing. But, so far CO is all I'm finding.

I guess I don't fully understand how for instance pure OO soap makes a nice soap, but has "0 cleansing" on the soap calc?

All soap cleans. I sort of equate the "cleansing" numbers to harshness in the cleansing dept. The higher the cleansing, the more I discount lye.
