I'm board at work and playing with numbers, came up with this
SF8%
Avocado oil 39%
Castor oil 8%
Coconut oil 75• 23%
Olive oil 30%

Thoughts?

I think that bar will be pretty soft and dissolve easily with not a lot of lather...but it will be only mildly cleansing and very conditioning...so if its for sensitive skin, it would probably be ok. It just depends on what this soap will be for and what qualities you're hoping to achieve.

Just a nice soft bath room bar soap for the bathroom sink . What would be a good thing to add to make it harder but still good on the skin (not to drying)?

You could try some Cocoa or Shea Butter (10% or so), or Babassu Oil, or up the Coconut and Superfat higher to accommodate the drying effect. Personally, if I were making it for the bathroom sink, I would up the cleansing factor (and hardness) with Coconut Oil...subtract some of that Avocado Oil and sub Coconut for it. Avocado is very conditioning as it is.
I use 30% Coconut Oil in most of my formulas and superfat around 7% and I don't find them drying to my already dry skin at all.

According to SM3 you have a hardness of 5.7 (5.1 is baseline), Fluffy lather (bubbles) is 4.1 with a baseline of 4.7, so not big bubbles however you are going to get deep, thick lather because the stable lather numbers are 6.8 with a baseline of 5.4 (nice!!!) and conditioning is 7.4 with baseline 5.1.

In my opinion, looking at these numbers you have a winner on your hands. I might drop the SF down to 5% on it though.

When looking at your numbers you need to look at everything combined. Overall this bar is going to give some amazing lather, just not big bubbles. With the amount of Coconut & Olive oils you will have a hard bar of soap (as shown above). Try a small batch and see how YOU like it.

ETA - there is a misconception that Olive oil leads to slimy soft soaps. This is actually not true. Castille (100% OO) can give you slimy lather but that bar of soap is rock hard and long lasting.
