We will be going to see the Jo-Bros is Houston on March 8th for my daughters 11th BDay. Are there any suppliers I need to hit while I am there?

When we heard they were going to be there right at her BDay, we couldn't refuse. She id not ask, we sprung the idea on her. We gave her the option, the trip w/ everyone pitching in, or a swimming party at the YMCA, which was her original plan. She chose the trip.

We offered my son a BDay trip too, last Nov & he chose a weekend in Dallas & a trip to the King Tutu exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. He is 7 & is an Egypt freak. In Dallas we were able to stay at my MIL house. In Hoiston we will need to book a hotel.

The kids have everything they need/want. They don't need any more video games, etc, which is what they would ask for if they had parties. Hubby & I figured experiences were the way to go, if the kids were game.

I think it's perfect! Trips, experiences, outings - always our favorite way to celebrate. I love it! A dream come true for a 10-year-old! Take pictures!

That's so cool that your son loves museums, too. It was a big relief when my kiddos were old enough to take the metro into DC themselves to spend an hour or two browsing through some of the museums there. Me, I could spend all day looking at the gems in the Natural History, or the Inaugural Gowns in the American History.

We've defiantly joined the 'no more crap' bandwagon in the last 4 or 5 years.

I think you're starting a wonderful family tradition.

Way fun and such a wonderful gift! So with your son such an egypt fan does this mean you have the egyptian soap molds??? :)

No I don't, but what a great idea! He could deisign egytian scents & do hieroglyphic on the labels & give them as gifts!

Think it would go over as a new etsy shop?

"Bath like an Egyptian" with Cleos Milk bath, etc, etc...

OOOOh, if someone opens an egyptian soap shop i the next few days I am going to be steamed!

Tabitha that sounds wonderful!!! Your son would be very knowledgeable about what the colours should be as well as what each of the Gods/Goddesses are so he would be able to help you write up the description..... :D :p :D
