Hi everyone!
For the past year or so I've been extremely obsessed with this shower gel/shampoo by philosophy called hot buttered rum, it smells soooooo good!
It's been discontinued and I don't have very much left so I had the brilliant idea of making a hot buttered rum soap!
I'm pretty sure it's not going to smell exactly the same, but I was wondering if anyone who's familiar with the original scent has found an FO that is pretty close.
I've found several suppliers who sell it, but I have no idea which one I should get :wtf:
I know it's a long shot, but figured I would ask anyway!
Thanks in advance! :p

I don't know the gel/shampoo. But I do have Crafter's Choice Hot Buttered Rum. My one word description is "butterscotch," as it is lacking the depth of rum. Don't get me wrong, it is very pleasant, but I am quite familiar with the real deal

You know as I posted this question I thought about the possibility that the shower gel smells nothing like the real deal haha and that the FO's out there are probably an attempted dupe of the beverage, not the product! DUH

I'm not very familiar with Crafter's Choice, but if they have the other things I'm looking for, I'll definitely try their HBR :) thanks!

The HBR soaped pretty nice. I used it in a beer soap and it blended pretty well with the natural yeasty scent. Some say it discolors a little but I couldn't tell because the beer already took the soap down that path.

Wholesale Suppliers Plus carries the Crafter's Choice line. WSP provides lots of great info about theirs FOs, like vanilla content, flashpoint, pthalates, usage guidelines, and customer reviews. I really liked their Verbena & Lemon and would definitely order that one again.
