Hi regansoap! Is this cold process soap or melt and pour?
If it is the first are you changing the location of the soap after you cut it? Soap needs a constant temperature at first.
Try using a humidifier in the room/closet where you keep your soap while it cures and see if that helps.

Are you keeping it in plastic regan? I was told to wrap mine up in plastic a few days after making and umoulding, so my stock is all in a big ziplock. I have seen a little weeping when I embedded some in some cp soap, but it looks like its clearing up. We are fairly dry here in coastal so cal though.

I think it's pretty normal for most M&P to sweat, because of the glycerin being such a humectant.

Trix, I think regansoap is talking about some homemade melt and pour. By random chance we both made some at about the same time.

Ah lol, lucky regansoap :)
thanks for explaining Seawolfe :D

Seawolf would you recommend wrapping in kitchen paper then plastic zip lock?
I wouldn't - it might stick to the paper and make a mess. Just dry it off well with your paper, then stuff it in the bag. Its pulling moisture from the air, so you need to keep it separated from it.

Seawolf I put the soaps in plastic bag and they sweated and sticky worse - they are just so sticky. I have put them in shrink wrap bags now - will they ever stop being sticky. What happens when you start using them do they stay sticky????? Signed disheartened.

Do you have a way to dehydrate them a little? Otherwise Im at a loss - Im still new with M&P as well.

I have never made homemade mp, just used bases and have not had any sweating. I know I have read that you can harden bars a little faster by putting them in front of a fan, I wonder if that would work? Would take them out of the bags and try that for a few hours to see if it helps.

Thank you everybody. If anyone has a tried and tested recipe for melt and pour I would be really grateful. If it could include po because I have 12k of it and using propylene glycol please.
