I am such an amateur, I think I need to cry!
Let me know what you think!!

Um sorry Mods, I posted this in the wrong section. Sorry I don't know how to change it, I meant to post it in the soap forum.
Thanks
Christine

WHOA!!!! Those are amazing! Wow, I'm with you. I feel like such an amateur after looking at those. Sigh.

Thats enough to make you sick with envy isn't it!!! I can't even swirl, mine ends up marbled, never mind trying to be an artist with it! *sigh*

I wonder how people get their colors so very bright like that! None of my soaps are that colorful! And they all trace so fast I don't have the time to do what she does. Does anyone else get colors like that?

She's on another forum and i just drool everytime I look at her soaps.

I tried to do some of what she does and FAILED miserably. LOL So I'll just continue to drool over hers. :)

WOW, is that CP? I have a hard time getting ONE colour to turn out how I want it, LOL.... that is some serious talent!

Yea, that's Mary (angelkityn over at the Dish) and she's very talented - clearly an artist! Her husband soaps with her so some of what you see is likely his too!

She does certainly have bright colors. I have some of her soaps and can tell you they are just as vibrant in real life.

I love her soaps, I've seen them on the dish. Carebear, I bet the ones you have are in your knicker drawer  I wanna grow up to be a soaper like her

Those soaps are absolutely beautiful works of art!

Yes...they are....and she CONSISTENTLY does it. I wish that my soap looked as good as the fugly batches that she's posted....the ones that disappointed her.

I love her soaps too and on top of it she is really nice to everyone on the other forum.

I will one day order some soap from her, even though the shipping is going to be more than the soap...

One day, when I am a grown up, I will make beautiful soaps...

I think her approach to her work (soap, art prints, blog) shows a real "cool" style (I am so dated and sure there is a way "cooler" word than cool to describe what I am trying to say). Her work is amazing - she loves color, is not afraid to push the envelope and soar. She "shouts" I am happy, confident, and fun loving. I would think her products sell well because people would want a piece of that! She is my new hero.

I've wondered this myself. Those soaps are gorgeous!
