Hello!

Just checking in the introduction forum! I followed TessV here from a Betta Forum (Ultimate Bettas, 'tis amazing if you keep finned critters) and am definitely liking what I see here!

I have zero experience, but this coming weekend I shall have supplies so I can take a swing at making solid lotion! Alas, no attempting to make soap for at least a few months, college dorms don't exactly like their students playing with lye but once the semester is over, I'll have an apartment that I master the chemistry of soapmaking in.

Heh, yes, I realized quickly the file was far too large! My other forums typically automatically resize them. So now it is a more appropriate size now

Welcome! Wow, I was never ambitious enough to make stuff like lotion when I lived in the dorm. Spaghetti occasionally, but nothing that wasn't absolutely necessary for survival. Way to go!

Thankfully solid lotion is simple enough to be made in a dormitory, we have access to a pretty poor quality little kitchen in the basement! I have to have some craft or hobby to break up the monotony of studying nursing :wink:
