Hi with pictures

Hi! I'm a new soaper, been doing melt and pour for a few weeks on free evenings. It's funny to hear soaping being called an addiction so much.. What an apt description! I truly feel addicted.

So, I understand you guys like pictures so I'll put up a few. My first bars were lemon with exfoliating poppy seeds, inspired by a soap queen post. Didn't really come out as you can see, my black soap poured a bit into the yellow but for my first attempt I was fine with it.

The second is a lavender soap I am really pleased with and took a couple days to make. The third is a banana soap that really didn't turn out as planned but everyone but me me seems to like it. Then there is a cherry design I came up with, a dancer and some science fiction soaps because I'm a geek

Star Trek and Star Wars are both so good - it is the only thing that can make pictures of soap better, when it is a picture of a geeky soap!

I'm so excited you recognized AND LIKED the soap! I brought them into work and at best the reaction was a friendly "what a geek " to at worst "what is Star Trek? Is that the one with the war in space?". So many at work don't even know what a Death Star is I no longer assume people know!
