Good Morning! My name is Lynn and I am resurrecting my soap company since I have recently retired and now have lots of time! I'm so excited to be able to do this. I could use some advice on my company name...I started my company back in 2000 while living in Maine. I had a real good thing going and sold a lot of soap via internet sales all over the country and even sent samples to China through an in state craftsmen exchange program. Part of my company name included 'DownEast' for the region I lived. I now live in Sarasota Florida. Does it seem ok to you guys if I keep my original successful name if I include in my brochure that the company was founded in Maine?? Will be interested in hearing your thoughts on this and thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the forum. I think having "DownEast" in your name would still work fine since Florida is kind of in the East.

Welcome, Lynn!

I'd go ahead and keep your name, too. Florida is on the east coast, and of all the states on the actual continent (or in other words, not including Hawaii), it is the furthest down.

IrishLass :)
