Hey, long time viewer of Soapmaking forum here and decided to finally register. That's because this weekend I'm finally going to be making my first batch of soap!
I like this forum because it's a good mix of folks who come at soaping from an aesthetic perspective and those who favor the chemistry perspective. I like both aspects of soapmaking and won't be shy about asking questions going forward.
I'll be sure to drop by again early next week at the latest with an update of how it goes. Wish me luck!
One question - I am a guy and wonder just how outnumbered we are in the soap making world?
