hello, im new here and have a question right off the bat. what is the difference in CP between Steric Acid and Sodium Lactate. Im mostly needing some help unmolding soap from PVC mold. The soap is already pretty hard due to a high coconut content, but still hard to get out. any feedback would be great

Welcome to the forum. You can try lining your soap mold with butcher paper; that should help the release. Here is a link discussing stearic acid vs sodium lactate.
