New boy here! I only got interested in soap making on 3rd August when I saw a basic soap making kit in our local craft shop. I took it home and gave it a go - and 60 minutes later I was hooked! What a really fun hobby!
I've gone a bit mad and bought several moulds, fragrances, oils and colours - as well as some soap bases and butters. I have managed to make a few different soaps since then that friends and family have been trying out for me. They say they are good but I'd expect them to say that - as I said, they're friends and family!! :wink:
I've started looking into getting my Cosmetic Safety Assessment registration sorted out - they have just brought in some stricter new laws across the whole of Europe and you need to get that to be able to sell your stuff - even at summer fetes and craft shows.
Still, at least it will give me a chance to practice a bit more while waiting for it to go through!
I can't work out how to post photos of my efforts on here yet - that'll need practice as well
