Hi, another newbie here! I'm a SAHM to two kiddos. I love crafty things in general (especially knitting, crocheting, and sewing), and I just started exploring CP soapmaking after buying some lucious handmade CP soaps online. I've made one batch so far and am eager to learn more. If only I could settle on what to try next . . .

Cool! I'm near Grand Rapids. We're very familiar with Indian River. We pass through/ pass by it at least once every summer as we travel up I75 on the way to the UP.

Our eastern property line is I-75 (but we can't see it from the house--lots of land & trees between), so, you go right by my house when heading north. I think we're right around mile marker 307. I love the U.P. I could definitely live up there if it weren't for the 200" of snow they get every winter!!

LOL. I lived in the Sault for 5 years while attending college at LSSU. The snow (and the ever present wind coming of Lake Superior! Brr!) does get to a person after a while . . . One of my favorite places to visit though!


I'll have to honk as I pass mile marker 307 next time we drive up.
