I'm new to the world of soap making, but since I made my first batch, I keep thinking of different variations I can do and different oil or scent combinations. I think I may have found a new addiction! I've learned a lot from reading everyone's posts and I know that I have a lot more to learn still. I look forward to the journey.

Hi Neve! Where abouts in Alberta are you from? You don't need to give me your address, lol. I'm just curious in relation to something…such as, I'm waaaaay north of Edmonton…but still south of High Level. I'm actually half way between Edmonton and the NWT border.

How did it do after the flooding? I saw pictures of the highway washed out! Made me so sad. I hope you weren't affected too much :cry: I have friends in Bragg Creek and Calgary, what a horrible thing you all went through!

It wasn't fun that's for sure. We lost income - no damage. We are renting a top floor condo on the high side of town. We were trapped for a week but there are worse places to be stuck!

You can still see the damage but the town is doing great. I think damage-wise it was much worse for High River.
