With your inspiration driving me, yesterday I made a hempy soap that was 90% hemp and 10% babassu. I added the babassu to up the lather. Plus I love babassu.
I unmolded it today and the soap that was on my hands lathered like crazy and was not drying in the least bit as newly unmolded soaps so often are. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm out of ROE so I am hoping the dreaded DOS will not visit these bars. They are so pretty. I scented the batch with Nag Champa since I just recently made a patchouli soap. Nag Champa turns dark so I did a reverse swirl. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be noticeable. I'll post pictures when I get batteries for camera.
