Herb Powders in CP

just a quick question about using herb/spice powders-

after curing CP for 4-6 weeks, can you still smell them or are they only used for natural colouring? turmeric, sage, rosehip powders are what im mostly wondering about...

I use alkanet for purple, turmeric for yellow, sweet paprika for red as well as rosehips and madder root and I never smell them in my soap.
