I would like to make henna shampoo bars for red hair.
Did anybody ever try to use Henna?

I did recently but I have black hair. Henna was more for conditioning and brightening my somewhat dull black. You would want to steep it in relatively stable oils like CO or OO and use something like a tea bag. My shampoo bar which also had Amla and red hibiscus turned a dark chocolate color. Very very tempting. Good luck with your trials.

Did you get the result that you were seeking with your shampoo bar?

Yes jay jay, my shampoo bar rinses out the oil in my hair very effectively. I need to go over twice but that was the case with the actual shampoo as well. I do a rinse with ACV and my hair is shiny, tangle free, has tons of volume. With my already thick hair it almost looks like an Afro, that doesn't bother me though. It is softer than ever. Hope this answers your question.
Oh, and im loosing much less hair these days, thanks to Genny indeed!
