I just removed four oval-shaped soaps out of a plastic mold, and it almost drove me insane. After 24 hours of making the soaps, I put it in the freezer thinking it would pop out. It felt more like a knockout and breakdown. It was so difficult to remove, it literally tire me out, which doesn't help with my congestive heart failure. I've even sprayed it with coconut oil before I poured the soap in. Does anyone know an easier way to remove these things without going insane? I use a wooden mold for the majority of my soaps, but a customer insists on oval shape. Thank you all in advance. :)

Usually that does the trick - freeze for half an hour (for me at any rate), let sit out for about 5 -10 minutes, then turn over and pry out. Coconut will saponify - you'll want to use mineral oil.

Was your recipe full of hard oils or mostly olive? I know someone will ask you for your recipe so just thought I'd give you the heads' up!! Some butters will stick more than others, I've heard. Like shea I think.

It was a CP batch?
What kind of plastic??

Yes, it was CP. A friend of mine sent me the plastic molds, which she bought from Milky Way Molds Co. They were a clear and a little flexible, and the other was white and stiff. The white mold gave me the hardest time.

Recipe (my customer wanted this):
Coconut oil - 10 oz.
Olive oil - 7 oz.
Palm oil - 5 oz.
Shea butter - 3 oz.
Pumpkin Seed oil - 2 oz.
Grapeseed oil - 1 oz.
Sunflower oil - 1 oz.
Sweet Almond oil - 1 oz.
Avacado oil - 1 oz.
Castor oil - 1oz.
