Can someone tell me if I should discard my soap?
I made a batch of milk soap. The lye and milk turned into a clump
and it turned a deep yellow even with stirring. Once the lye cooled I
mixed it with the oils anyway. After blending, the soap turned white. I put it in the mold and the next day I took it out and the soap was a beautiful
white color. Later I used the soap and it was creamy and rich. Is there
something wrong with this soap since the milk and lye mixture turned deep yellow and into a clump. Should I trash this soap?

My experience says that it's okay - you just got a good lye reaction with the milk. As long as you blended everything real well before molding there should be no problem with it.

Sounds like the milk got a little hot then clumped up. If you mixed everything up I think its ok to use. How old is the soap? Did you do a Zap test just to be sure?
