I made a few sugar scrub cubes with this receipe
1 Tablespoon oil
2 Tablespoon shredded soap
3 Tablespoon sugar.

My first question is when you melt the soap with the oil is the soap supposed to be liquid? I used some small pieces of goats milk soap and I shredded it and it took a while to melt and when it did it foamed up and just did not look good. I went ahead and mixed it with my sugar and made small tablespoon mounds and they did not pack very well. Also when you measure the soap shreds do you lightly fill up the tablespoon or pack it down.

Are you using cp soap or mp?

Also, are you trying to make a solid sugar scrub or one that goes in jars?

I've made solid sugar scrubs before using mp and never had any "foam" on me. What kind of oil are you using?

I personally don't like using CP shreds for sugar scrubs. I never could get it to melt down to a nice, fluid consistency. I think MP works better in that regard. Never had it foam though with CP shreds.

I think I will forget about using CP and try the melt and pour.

Thanks yall for helping
