Hi there! I've tried to search this question, but not finding any answers, so guess I'll just start a new thread.

Has anyone made PINE soap... was it with fragrance oil or essential?
and did you blend it with any other fragrance?

I have a man requesting this soap, and I'm afraid it might turn out like PINESOL (the cleaner!!!!)

I use mostly EOs these days. There are a number of Christmas tree type FOs that may work for you but unfortunately I haven't worked with those much. I'm sure somebody else will chime in. Brambleberry makes one, I think it's called Woodland Elves, which is nice.

I have used spruce, cedar and fir needle in various combinations. Doesn't smell like Pine-Sol at all. Sometimes I blend with a little bit of citrus and anchor with vetiver or a smidge of patch.

I too use mostly EO, so I'm open to EO.
Whatever anyone has found that is a good smelling pine I am open to using.

Could you tell me what 'patch' is?

Patchouli.

Rainbow Meadow has a good blend calculator. You select at least two EOs and then it comes up with blends involving those EOs and more.

For a good selection of EOs, try New Directions Aromatics, Liberty Natural, or Camden Grey.
