I'm giving some of my recent soaps as Christmas gifts to a few close family members, and I want to name them.

How do you come up with unique names for your soaps? I'm having a hard time thinking of good ones.

One in particular is scented with an Artemis Type FO from SOS. It smells pretty manly.... kind of like Old Spice. I coloured it a light blue/green colour. It kind of reminds me of the ocean, but musky. The description SOS has of the scent is:

"A dashing composition of bergamot, jasmine, and cedar blended with vanilla, sandalwood and amber. From our Channel Line."

Any ideas??

Where do you live & what are your hobbies or the hobbies of the men getting the soaps?

I live in a small town in Northern Ontario on the shore of Lake Superior (the soap kind of reminds me of the freezing lake!)

I thought about calling it "Superior Breeze" because it has a cool, fresh scent to it, but it's also a little musky and smells like cologne.

I'll be giving it to my Dad and brothers. Their hobbies are fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, etc.

Hhhhhmmm, how about:

Arctic Chill
Arctic Breeze
Winter Chill
Frozen Pond
Fisherman's Cove
Ice House
Ice Hut
Shivers
Winter Creek
Snowy Creek
Snow Cloud

 wow you're a soap name genius. Next time I "invent" some new soap may I borrow your naming skills? I am so horrible at brainstorming names.

Jiminy Cricket, Tabitha!

What do you feed your muse? Double shots?

I can come u w/ all that good stuff for other people, but get stuck when I need to do it for me. It's like cleaning house, always easier to clean someone elses  .
