I just made my first batch of soap, and it’s been sitting for about 2 hours, I checked on it and it has big cracks on one side! how can I save it? Should I put it in the fridge? Thank you.

Looks like it got a little hot, but the crack is just cosmetic. You can squish it back together while it is still soft and warm.

If you had it insulated, it might be enough to remove the insulation and get some airflow underneath it by putting it on a baking rack. You can also refrigerate it if it is still really hot and wants to keep cracking.
