Hi everyone!
I am new to the group so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Lizzy, and I'm from Chicago. I took a cold process class in my neighborhood and thought, I'd like to explore this more on my own!
I've been researching simple recipes to start. I have a quick question for the group.
When I mix my lye and distilled water, do I use hot water or room temperature? All the instructions I've come across instruct you to let it cool down, but... do you heat the water first? Any advice is appreciated!
