Hello and hugs to all. I'm no longer lurking. I ve checked out many sites and let me tell you I think this is the best.I have been making soap off and on for about 25 years just havent found the recipie that i like most. So I guess i'll just keep plugging away till I do. Have many people who like what I dont [ lol I always give it away] hope to meet many of you soon. Am very interested in the rtcp so think ill try that one next. It seems to be the best of both worlds hp and cp :} Hugs again to all who reside and lurk here. Diane

Welcome Diane

RTCP is room temperature cold process. There are different variations of it. I melt a masterbatch of oils together & then just measure out what I need for each batch. I make my lye fresh each time because I don't feel comfortable having lye solution sitting there.

Paul, you don't even melt your oils anymore, do you? I seem to remember a post about you whipping your oils together? And you also masterbatch your lye?
