Hi everyone, my name's Megan. I finally decided to jump in and join the forum after browsing for quite some time. I've been interested in soap making for about a year, and have been making soap for probably 8 months or so. I only have about 10 batches under my belt, but have already learned so much.

There is so much information on this site and everyone is so kind and knowledgable. I look forward to continue and share my journey with you guys!!

Welcome Megan! What kind of soaping (cp, hp, cpop,) have you been doing?

Thanks everyone! I use the CP method. I just made a batch last night, so I'll be sure to post some pictures when they're cut.

Here's a picture of my latest... I had originally planned to do green with a pencil line, but realized halfway I forgot my scent! At that point I mixed in what i had so far and decided to make it two toned. The brown is colored with cinnamon and the green with ground parsley.

That is lovely! It may not be what you intended but I think it turned out great. This is just a suggestion but you could also post this pic in the Photo Gallery so more people will see it.

Hello Friends ,

This is great community environment equipment . This is wondering sites .

Hi Megan

Welcome to the forum. It's a really great spot to share experiences and learn from others. It's so wonderful to find people who just want to talk about soap! I can waste hours on here

Your soap looks nice; the backdrop too! Are you on a farm? I'm in Perth, Western Australia, the most isolated city in the world so they say.

Same here! It's crazy how much time you can spend researching all sorts of topics on here. I'm from Ohio, not on a farm though, just my backyard. Isolated or not I'm sure Perth is beautiful. I've always wanted to visit Australia :)
