Hello, from houston

My name is ryan, I live in Houston. I finally made the dive into making soap yesterday. I was introduced to the idea around 3 years ago and motivated myself again this year to finally start.

Over the past 2 months I have done a lot of research into soapmaking. I know actual experience is far more important but I wanted to shorten my learning curve and soak up knowledge where I could.

Yesterday I made my first batches and waiting to unmold today.

I hope to learn more from everyone here and maybe meet some local people too!

Definitely! At a minimum I have to use all the supplies I bought!
I use hemp and castor oil only at 5% each so they will last a while but the olive oil sure does go very fast!

Welcome, Ryan and congratulations on your first soaps. My son & DIL & granddaughter now live near Houston, so I get down there sometimes. Houston sure is a huge city, isn't it?
