Hello from DC area!

Hi all! I have been lurking a bit, and totally fascinated with what I have been reading, so I guess its time to introduce myself. I have never made soap before, but I have started making body scrubs and I am (and my family as well is) loving them! I found the soapmakingforum somehow and now after reading a bit I am getting fired up to want to attempt my hand at CP. I am enjoying reading everyone's tips and tricks and looking at the gorgeous photos! I am considering taking a CP in person class soon as I had read that if that opportunity arises, to take it to get some hands on experience to see if it is something you may be interested in trying.

hi Spicey! I am about 80 miles west of DC in Front Royal, VA in the Shenandoah Valley. I moved here from Capitol Hill about 10 yrs ago.

You will love learning to make CP. Its a lot of fun to learn but like anything related to B&B it can be expensive.

I had a friend that gave CP classes several years ago and thats how I started. I just recently gave a CP soap demo at a local shop here in the valley so I have come a long way but still learning lots of new things myself.

Thanks all! Candybee where you live is lovely! I have only been out there a couple of times (once to Apple-something shop off of 66), I live in Southern Maryland on the Chesapeake.
