Hello,

My name is Barbora, I come from Czech Republic. I´ve been making CP soap for around a year and I love it! I´ve been browsing this forum since I started making soap and have learnt most information here - thank you all, I much appreciate the willingness to share your knowledge and experiences. The atmosphere of this forum is great, I like to be here, so I finally decided to introduce myself.

Have a nice time and soaping,
Barbora

Welcome to the forum, I am glad you introduced yourself :)

It´s for the first time that I post on a forum, and being "a little" introverted - it took me a while to stop hiding. I am looking forward to exchanging information and soaping adventures with all of you!

That´s interesting! In fact we used to be one state - Czechoslovakia, then we split in 1993 and now there is Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, but it´s not important, just an information. Soapmaking is quite new here and people generally don´t know anything about hand-made soaps.
I would like to visit the US. I´ve been to England (I worked in London, 15 years ago), that´s where I learned English and I loved it!

You would never know it by how much I post, but I am more then "a little" introverted. ;-) Again, I am glad you are out of hiding.

Yes, fortunately for us, grandma still makes traditional pirohy and kolacky...one of these days I need to learn! England and the united States are VERY different places :) Even the north, south, east, and west parts of the states are very different!! :)

Yes, I imagine it must be very different - that´s why I´d like to visit the US, I have never been outside of Europe. I wouldn´t know which part of the US to visit first! ;) It´s nice to meet someone who knows our culture.

I wouldn't say that I "know" the culture, but I attended many Catholic masses that were in the Slovak language as a child! I was always amazed by how many people in her community were fluent, and I usually sat there like this  or this :eh: or even this :problem:!

Hi and thanks for joining in.
Everyone here is so helpful, great place.
I'm still pretty new to this and so appreciate all the help I have been given.
Hoping one of these days to have some helpful hints of my own to share.
