I made a ****oo. I accidentally put one ounce of gycerine
in my soup instead of castor oil. I thought it was castor oil
but realize once the soap was set that it was glycerine. I
noticed the soap took a longer time to trace and when it did
it was a pudding consistancy. Should I trash this batch.
Don't know if it is safe to use. I know the sap value is different
from castor oil.

Won't the glycerin act just like sugar? I add an ounce of glycerin after cook with my hp, did you replace the missing ounce of castor oil so your lye calculation was correct or do you think your soap might be lye heavy?

Nope. Didn't realize that it was glycerine until today. So I should throw it out right?

I don't think you need to throw it out . See what it is like , check it for zap , you might be able to use it for laundry or something , or you could rebatch it .

Without the castor, it will probably be close to zero superfat or maybe a tad lye heavy. If you don't wanna bother trying to save it, you can always use it for household cleaning purposes.

I myself, I probably wouldn't do a rebatch on it, because I'd always worry about a pocket being a little lye heavy. Of course, that just makes it clean dishes and clothes better, and being diluted, it's not harsh on your hands.
