Oh those are gorgeous! I was just reading somewhere about rocks, I don't know much about them, and they used clay and glycerin. I checked the ingredients of the ones you posted and they contain clay and glycerin to. Reckon the two together make that smooth finish?

:shock: wow.....awesome. i think kitn posted about soap stones.....perhaps this is what she was referring to....she said there were soap stones on etsy...something about having to rub them in a stainless steel sink to get them smooth. that's all i remember.....

Those are gorgeous and at $15 bucks a rock , that guy is getting super rich..

These are a little different than what I saw ,I want to make just plain old field rocks kinda sorta.

Look what I found! The one on this site is not all that pretty but they are called gem stone soaps. This is all I could find.....for now

you ain't kidding about getting rich.....they are charging quite a bit for those rocks.....and they aren't all that big either....depending on which type you get...i think he is selling some that weigh one oz.....28 grams.....
