Has anyone made their own after shave?

Been making soap for quite some time now and I'm looking for products to add to my future soap shop
I've been looking for a recipe to enable me to start experimenting; but can't seem to find something I can understand Like why would you put vinnegar in?
I'm after the watery stuff; thought about adding a little bit of allantoin, the FO's I plan to buy for my man soaps, a little bit of oils, concentrated aloë and some vodka. Can someone get me started here?

i made a perfume 7 years ago with vodka and EO's. it is still great smelling. it was in an old wooden chest in my closet all this time. DD put it on last night and it was great.

i only used the vodka and EO's, no preservatives or anything.
