hand-held steamer?

I just plane my regular loaf soap bars to get rid of the ash. But now I have an order for guest soaps, that will have decorative tops. I have heard the recommendation of a steamer. Any recommendations for where I might get one?

Don’t know where you are but I picked one up in a department store in the US (Walmart I think). It was with the irons and clothespins etc. I’m still getting the hang of it but it does work well for getting rid of ash. Just be careful of burning your fingers.

I saw a nice one at my Costco the other day. I think it was $40.

I got mine at Amazon... under $40 - cheaper in the U.S. I imagine.

If your iron has a steam setting, that would work, too.
