hi everyone,
I was wondering if any of you knew whether or not essential oils can CAUSE hair loss? I have lost so much hair here lately, and am beginning to worry. I have used essential oils in my daily shampoo for about a year now to help with its natural courseness. it has helped with that for sure, but i am wondering if too much causes hair loss? i know that there are alot of things that can contribute to hair loss, hormones, stress, diet, etc, but until i can get to a doc, i want to research this topic first. I am also going to incorporate vitamin B and fish oil in my diet, and i have very little stress (As i have a wonderful life). thanks so much!

I had a problem with hair loss and started taking Biotin. It is a B vitamin, but I needed more than what is in a regular B complex. I started with 1000 mcg. and the hair loss ended!

thank you Ruthie! i will try that. Melstan775- there are too many to list that i use for a variety of things. I just wondered if any one had heard or experienced hair loss as a direct result of any EO's they may be using. thank you!
