45 batches and then I get this.. Guessing its the infamous dos?

What's weird is the recipe looks good but from the start it didn't set up well. Didn't gel since thinner tray.
This was the same recipe though that gave me trouble and separated with CPOP when I tried leaving oven on longer for 20 min instead of off. Ended up rebatching and it looked like poo! Obsidian I think you recall. Lol
Maybe the separation is the recipe not CPOP.

Either way I have other recipes I think so will ditch this one. :/ liked it though since it was simple in terms of ingredients. Should be good.

CO 23%
Lard 17%
OO 30%
Palm 25%
Castor 5%

7% superfat.

Could it be the FO you used? I had a batch do that to me when I used the Crafters Choice Wedding Cake FO. It wasn't DOS, nothing rancid or bad, just brown speckles of discoloration I assume are from the vanilla. Ticked me off. It's really ugly. Yours is much prettier. LOL!

How did that poo brown batch end up? have you used it at all? That doesn't look like DOS, its too small and evenly spaced. I have DOS on a couple of my bars and the spots are bigger, very orange and different sizes.

I haven't tried it yet but it smells good. Berry good poo. :)

I wonder what this is then. :/ it's coconut creme and blueberry scent. I did use a FO stabilizer since blueberry has vanilla. But I've used it before 2-3 times without this happening.

Obsidian your soaps are on the way. Got yours and they were so cutely wrapped! Mine are simple and boring. Just shrink wrap.. But it's Eco biodegradeable! Lol
Going to try one tomorrow and sending you another pm tonight on yours from me. :)

Maybe it's the vanilla trying to come through somehow from the inside? Idk.
Does that happen? I've heard of FO seeping out. Could be brown from the blueberry and the stabilizer isn't effecting it?

Is this your blueberry soap? Did you put blueberry bits in it? If so, the bits will turn brown. But, definitely not DOS, not yet, anyway.

Yes it's the blueberry soap but no fresh blueberries. Guess I'll just wait and see what happens in the coming weeks. Maybe it will go away.. I hope! It's just getting worse.

I think it is FO spots, it is not DOS.. I hope it goes away from your beautiful soap.
