Ok, so I've seen coffee butter... and all kinds of coffee things.. I was wondering if you could get whole coffee beans and then grind them down for like an exfoilant or an additive.. and you know in grocery stores where they have different flavors, well do you think you could use those to?

I'm pretty curious about this because that would be pretty neato.. has anyone tried it? :D

You could definitely grind the beans down to use as an exfoliant. I use already ground coffee for my M&P coffee soaps. You could also use the different flavored ones but I've heard that the reg. coffee scent alone doesn't come through too well so I'm not sure if the diff. flavors would make a difference. In my M&P, I always add an FO to the soap as the grounds really don't smell on their own. Now, I'm just talking about M&P soap so I don't know about the other things you're wanting to use it for. Hopefully I've helped a bit! Keep us updated on what you decide to do and how it turns out!

i use already ground beans also, but fresh ground would be delightful. i use coffee as my water and for scent i add cinnamon eo. some people can smell the coffee. some can't. very mild. i do cp. i shape into balls and flatten the bottom so it doesn't roll. then mark as a coffee kitchen bar to remove ordors.

i grind my own flavored coffee for soap , I like the chunkyness of my own grind better.
